2014 Trends and Beyond predict from JWT

Hi everyone, hope  you are all well and you have enjoyed christmas break and new years holiday.

As we are beginning to live in this new year 2014, I found something interesting from www.jwtintelligence.com which is ten trends for this year and beyond. This trends might be useful not only for us but also for marketing man, advertiser and people who work in ad agency and creative industry.

Consumer will pay a lot attention on entertainment  that make them feel impress and get involve with feel good brand experience

2. DO YOU SPEAK VISUAL?

We are in the age of ‘visual’ using picture, photo, sticker, video and other images in daily life like a new language that people need to be mastered.

3. THE AGE OF IMPATIENCE:

Consumer and customer expect everything faster, more immediate, more comfortable and more impulsive more than in the past because of the shifting of technology make people lack of patient for waiting.

4. MOBILE AS A GATEWAY TO OPPORTUNITY:

Cellphone lead to connectedness of the world. Its capability was develop more and more, even sms can make people easily access to health education financial etc. information and news.

5. TELEPATHIC TECHNOLOGY:

Genius technology nowadays can memory people emotion and brain nervous system. It means that this will know how you think and what you are thinking which help brands can develop their consumer understanding in consumer’s mind and mood. For example, Nestlé used Electrocorticographic Brain Data Analysis to analyze university student mood while they are eating KIT KAT chocolate and use this data to develop their products.

6. THE END OF ANONYMITY:

Playing hide and seek is harder , even you try to hide yourself then people can find your eventually because of technology which affect people privacy. People addict phone and cannot live without it. More specifically, Tesco gas station in UK  has installed consumer behavior detector to detect how long do consumers watch advertising when it appears on screen is the station.

7. RAGING AGAINST THE MACHINE:

When we are now in the age of digital technology, we have to admit that we are not only adore this technology but also fear and hate this kind of thing that it will swallow humanity. People are trying to fool themselves that they don’t depend on technology such as phone and computer, in fact we inevitable depend on it. As a result, people will put a higher value on all things that feel essentially human and not related with technology.

8. REMIXING TRADITION:

Old ceremony, culture and tradition have been mixed with the new one because of the new change, new ideas, creating new  way new believe for what feels right.

9. PROUDLY IMPERFECT:

The imperfect becomes to feel more authentic, and also more comforting and more valuable because technology make people more perfect and more accurate then people are getting sick of this too perfect.

10. MINDFUL LIVING:

People are too busy in their life in every day life including using technology all day long fir example mobile phone. Consequently they are finding a peace in their mind by shutting out distractions and focusing on the moment with mindful living.
